The mundane world just means any environment they live in aside from where their adventures will be. It’s mundane or normal to them and the fantastical is the unknown to them. If I live on an island that’s my world but then travel to another place I know nothing about and is very different from my daily surroundings.

I think one good film example of this 4 point contention is in the 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz. Herein, I'm referring to The two witches, the scarecrow, the tinman and the cowardly lion, and also the Wizard of Oz himself While not all characters in this contention were opposed to Dorothy, they each did help to bring out more of her desire to pursue her goal of getting back home to Kansas.

I have a question I wish I could ask John Truby a question. Since I can't, I'm asking it here and maybe someone will answer. Truby often cites Tootsie as an exemple of a good story structure. But, what is the desire drive in the story? I would say : get a job on a soap. But once he has the job, what is the desire? I have a similar problem with my own story and I am stuck.

I think one reason TDKR doesn't feel right is that it completely switches the series genre. In this franchise's case, the genre is the setting. The first two were clearly crime dramas that were infiltrated and heightened by Jungian archetypes and reimagined comic book characters. Whatever TDKR is, it's not a crime drama. Changing the genre breaks this story world. For example, Gordon feels like a hardboiled detective in the first two. In this, he feels like Gary Oldman acting. I think it's because the story world is gone beneath his feet. Bane and Talia can still work, but they have to be new and escalating forces infiltrating the same noir crime drama genre feeling Gotham. Keep the noir darkness and save all the daylight for a triumphant sunrise in the ending. Have Batman investigate Bane, Talia, and their underground army like a detective. They're like a new militarized version of the mob underworld, continuing Batman's war on organized crime to the heights of militarized escalation. You don't have to retell the same old story, but: If you take the genre characters out of their genre, doesn't feel right anymore. At least that's my take on my latest viewing.

because he is probably christian or born in a christian environment. Christians don't consider Muhammad as a prophet because they separated from the Judaism before he came. Jewish and Muslims on the other hand may consider Jesus as a Prophet but not as the Messiah because Jesus was Jewish before it splitted into other religions.
